Christopher Grouss
2nd Assistant Superintendent

Christopher Grouss joined Raritan Valley Country Club’s management team in 2022 as 2nd Assistant Superintendent. He grew up in Hillsborough, New Jersey after moving from New Providence at a young age. Christopher previously worked in the RVCC Agronomy Department as an Equipment Operator while studying at Raritan Valley Community College.
Christopher wears several hats in the Turf Department, with aplomb. With a degree in Chemistry and a sophisticated knowledge of mechanics, Christopher quickly ascended to the position of Equipment Manager. While maintaining his duties as our unflappable 2nd Assistant, Christopher handles urgent equipment repairs and preventative maintenance with his signature patient and organized approach. His enjoyment of golf course maintenance has also led him to volunteer at events such as the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship held at Baltusrol Golf Club.
Christopher’s analytical skills and keen observation of detail, paired with his love for the turfgrass industry has made him an indispensable addition to the RVCC Agronomy Department.
