Horticulturist

Email: [email protected]
Megan joined the Agronomy Department of RVCC as Horticulturist in 2021. Recently, the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association granted Megan an Excellence Award for her Kemper Halfway House landscape design.
Prior to specializing exclusively in landscape design and installation, Megan worked in the interiorscape industry, focusing on large atriums in corporate campuses. Later, she joined a private gardening company as Lead Gardener and has assisted the Monitor and Maintenance Crew at Duke Farms.
Megan is particularly interested in the balance of meticulous design with responsible land stewardship practices and brings inspiration from the San Francisco Botanical Garden and Boston’s Arnold Arboretum, her former homebases. A graduate of The College of New Jersey, Megan – a New Jersey native herself – aims to elevate RVCC’s gardens with reintroduced native cultivars and layered, naturalistic settings.
